The Iranian regime’s prosecutor in Qom announced the appointment of a women’s special patrol to visit women’s public places.

According to the judicial authority, “in line with the expansion of the hijab culture, the special patrol of the women of the Qom prosecutor’s office, with the management of female judges, will visit women’s places, galleries, swimming pools, sports halls, hairdressers and …”.

According to the government news agency of the young journalists club, Mahmoud Kahe, Qom prosecutor, said: “The Special Women’s Patrol of the Prosecutor Office will visit public places for women, and in the event of observing any anti-chastity acts, will deal with the offenders.”

In order to suppress more women and girls in Iran, he claimed that this measure was in line with expanding the culture of hijab and chastity in society and creating lasting peace and stability in the province.

Despite the rules of compulsory veiling and the suppression of Iranian women and girls under this pretext, a large proportion of women, especially the younger generation, have always resisted the compulsory veil and avoided it in various ways. S
