Maham 7 is a type of bottom mine that is equipped with two types of acoustic and magnetic sensors. The body of the mine is made of special GRP composite materials, which, along with the special shape of the body, can deflect sonar waves, so it is very difficult to identify the mine. The mine has an anti-explosion mechanism around it, which makes neutralizing it more complicated and time-consuming. Maham 7 is used against all types of medium tonnage vessels, aircrafts and midget submarines.
