Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami has said that the Israeli regime cannot handle a long war in Gaza, adding that Netanyahu is the factor behind the continuation of the war.
Speaking in a ceremony in Tehran at the foreign ministry compound on Wednesday, General Salami noted that what is the biggest factor in continuing the war in Gaza today is “Netanyahu’s personal need.”
He added that the Palestinian Resistance groups have so far displayed and employed “a small portion of the Resistance capabilities and capacities.”
“The Zionist regime will not be able to handle a long-term war,” the IRGC chief underscored.
“What is happening in Gaza today and Palestine is suicidal to those who are committing the crimes,” he added.
He went on to point to the seizure of the Israeli ship by the Yemeni military forces in the Red Sea, noting that incidents in the Red Sea showed that no one is scared of US threats, unlike in the past.
General Salami further described the Yemeni army’s seizure of the Israeli ship as a strategic failure for Washington.
“Zionists and Americans do not act rationally. The future generations of Palestine have earned with whom they should fight and weapons will be handed over to them (Palestinians). Finally, the victory will be for oppressed Palestinians.”
