(2017) – The local tech firm Media Pardazesh was announced as the official partner of Huawei for the year 2017 in Iran.
The announcement was made on Thursday at a press conference held at Kourosh shopping center in west Tehran.
Sales and media managers of both companies were present and announced the company’s future plans for Iran, local tech website digiato.com reported.
The first phase of Huawei’s sales plan is to offer smart phones in Iran. In the second phase, which begins in spring, Huawei will start sales of tablets and wearable gadgets.
Media Pardazesh has been active in the fast expanding ICT for over 17 years and imports gadgets made by foreign brands such as LG and Huawei.
The company officials have promised that there will only be “a short lapse” between the time a new phone is introduced in global market and the time it is available in Iran.
Media Pardzasesh will be selling the entire range of Huawei phones in Iran including the Mate, P, Honor, Nova, and the affordable Y series with after-sales guarantees. After sales services and guarantees are directly supervised by the parent Chinese multinational company.
Officials say Huawei’s Mate 9 Pro will soon be launched in Iran but only a limited number of the company’s high-end products including Design Mate 9, Honor Magic and Porsche Design will be sold here.
Huawei currently has no plans for setting up physical stores or launching direct online sales platforms and will continue distributing its goods through retail outlets.
Huawei’s most important plan in Iran is to cut out the middlemen and distribute its products on a large scale while lowering prices and easing distribution among retailers.
Local companies such as Yas and Microtel previously offered after sales services for Huawei. Officials from Media Pardazesh have claimed that Huawei has chosen to work with them as they have better infrastructures and sales channels.
