In the early hours of Tuesday, November 3, and Monday, November 2, 2020, and on the brink of the anniversary of the November 2019 uprising, defiant youth targeted four centers of suppression of the paramilitary Bassij and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), torching their signs and entrances.
In Tehran, the so-called Imam Hassan Mojtaba religious seminary, a place of congregation for suppressive Bassij agents, was torched.
Defiant youth set fire to an IRGC Bassij base in Isfahan’s Homayounshahr, burning down the door and overhead sign.
In Kish Island, Hormozgan Province, defiant youth attacked a IRGC Bassij base and torched its entrance and signs.
On Monday, defiant youth attacked the so-called Qassem Soleimani compound of the Bassij in Isfahan and set fire to its front sign and entrance.
These centers of suppression played an active role in attacking and arresting young protesters during last year’s November uprising and the ensuing months.
Over the past three days, seven attacks have been conducted by defiant youth against the clerical regime’s suppressive centers belonging to the IRGC and Bassij. These activities are conducted despite all of the regime’s suppressive and security measures and have been welcomed enthusiastically by people in the respective regions.
