Sanctioned by the United States on April 1, 2004 under the Iran Nonproliferation Act of 2000, for transferring to Iran equipment and/or technology of proliferation significance since January 1, 1999; sanctioned by the U.S. Department of State in December 2003 for engaging in missile technology proliferation activities; reportedly an owner, manager, and director of Mikrosam, a Macedonian company that manufactures industrial machinery – including multi-axis CNC machines – for processing composite and other materials, and which was also sanctioned; participated in developing a special anti-ballistic protection from composites in Yugoslavia; holds several advanced degrees and a professorship in management science at the Faculty of Technical Science in Bitola, Macedonia.
