Oil, gas and petrochemical trends
Establishment of Khatam al-Anbia’s construction site (PBUH)
According to Article 147 of the Constitution, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in accordance with Article 147 of the Constitution, has entered into an agreement with the contractor to execute the orders of the Supreme Leader on the participation of the Revolutionary Guards in the reconstruction and construction of the country and the country’s socio-economic development plans during peacetime.
Hence, the construction site of Khatam-ol-Anbia (PBUH) was established on the basis of the aforementioned decree since 1989 , and in line with the mission of defending the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and the comprehensive development of the country into the realm of construction, with the implementation of large national projects in various fields, including the dam , Roads, runways, buildings, irrigation and drainage, long tunnels, water pipelines, oil and gas, jetties and offshore structures, reservoirs for storing oil, gas and oil products, huge oil and gas installations, and drilling in the sea and land. Helping the Government of the Islamic Republic and serving the people in this field has achieved its valuable achievements.
The objectives of the construction site of Khatam Al Anbia (PBUH)
– Optimal use of specialized resources, facilities and talents
– Establishing a systematic and legal procedure for the participation of the IRGC in the implementation of economic, social and cultural development programs of the government
– Earning experience and technical knowledge to enhance the country’s specialized, combat and defense capabilities
– Creating a suitable platform for the participation of committed and basij forces in the development of the country
– Disqualification in disadvantaged areas alongside ongoing projects
– Construction of the country and enhancement of the ability of consulting engineers, contractors and domestic manufacturers of goods
– To create a balance in the price of tenders for national and big projects of the country
Entry into oil, gas and petrochemicals
Considering that the country’s most revenue was from the production and sale of crude oil and its main contractors were foreign companies and the presence of Iranian companies in the management, engineering and implementation of projects in the field of oil and gas was very low, especially in the upstream areas The vacancy of the presence of specialized companies in Iran has been quite tangible. Therefore, Khatam-ol-Anbia (PBUH) construction site has been determined since 1999 to reduce foreign threats to South Pars projects by imposing sanctions on oil, gas and petrochemicals. By implementing projects of the peripheral facilities, including the pond for the development of South Pars phases, Gas transmission lines began. And in 2001, with the participation in the tender for the construction of a petrochemical port in Assalouyeh, the construction of one million barrels of oil reservoirs and the reconstruction of the control system for oil reservoirs in the Kharg Island was won.
The construction site of Khatam-ol-Anbia (PBUH) became more prominent in this area by winning the tender for the development of Phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars. Now the campus is known as the largest contractor with the leadership, management, design and implementation of the indigenous industries of the country’s oil and gas industry.
