Rural telecom employees from across Iran on Tuesday held a protest outside the Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) headquarters in Tehran.
They protested the decision of the state-run TCI to refrain from giving them full-time employment contracts.
The secretary of the telecom employees’ council in the rural areas of Khorasan Razavi Province said the state telecommunication agency is refusing to abide by the regime’s own laws in providing stable jobs for its employees.
