A municipally agent from Abdan, in Iran’s southern Bushehr Province, was caught on video beating an Afghan immigrant child who was working as a street vendor on Saturday, July 20.
This brutal and inhuman behavior by the regime agent led to public outrage.
Subsequently, the regime’s local authorities were forced to admit the assault and promise to take action.
The situation of the Afghan immigrants in Iran is desperate. The Iranian regime exploits them and many of the men have been sent to Syria to fight for the regime of dictator Bashar Al Assad. Iran’s regime has made financial promises to them to encourage these people that are living without papers and without any proper rights. The Iranian regime states that the Afghans “volunteer” to fight for Iran, but it is evident that they do not see that they have any other choice.
In the past four years, thousands of Afghans have been trained by the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), which was listed in April 2019 by the U.S. State Department as a foreign terrorist organization.
