Iran’s terrorist Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) sets up a “nuclear command center,” according to Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency.
The IRGC intelligence and security branch’s new center will enforce nuclear defense and security, the report says.
Iran claimed the IRGC had arrested members of a “network” working for Israel that planned to sabotage Iran’s major underground nuclear facility at Fordo.
Earlier this year following several acts of sabotage at Iran’s nuclear facilities, Head of the Passive Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali announced that a command center for nuclear defense and security would be formed.
At the time Brigadier General Jalali said that the formation of such a center would help eliminate all previous faults and weaknesses, making the whole system invulnerable
