Moallem Insurance Company has been established in 1994 with a prior registered name of“ Export and Investment Insurance Company (EIIC) “with participation and partnership of insurance industry of Iran and banking system for the purpose of developing export activities and providing credit insurance coverage against available risks.

EIIC was incorporation in late 1994 based on the Establishment Act of Bimeh Markazi Iran and commenced operation in late 1995. Shareholders of EIIC are four governmental insurance companies i.e. Bimeh Iran, Bimeh Asia, Bimeh Alborz, Bimeh Dana and Bimeh Markazi Iran as well as five major Iranian Banks i.e. Export Development Bank of Iran, Bank Meli, Bank Saderat, Bank Mellat and Bank Tejarat. It’s present paid up capital is IR. Rials 35 billion. EIIC’s main objective is to promote and develop Iranian export by protecting exportes of goods and services as well as the Iranian Investors abroad for non payment of the price of such goods and services against commercial and non commercial risks.
With this protection and credit services, the exporter can be more aggressive and competitive in export trade and can comfortably penetrate markets, increase his sales turnover and trade on credit terms.
